RENTAL TERMS

AVAILABILITY

As we are experiencing higher demands in busy seasons, product availability is not guaranteed. To help ensure availability, please book your order as far in advance as possible.

SAFETY

While SUP boarding is considered to a fair safe activity for all ages, it could be risky if you do not have the ability to safely ride the board and enter dangerous areas. It is your personal responsibility to care for your and your partners’ safety and it is highly recommended you wear a safety vest at all times.

DEPOSITS

A cash security deposit is required from all customers for each product rented. All security deposits will be refunded in full upon the return of all equipment in full working order and in the same condition as when it was rented. However, we reserve the right to keep any deposit if the equipment is returned in unsatisfactory condition.

LIABILITY

Any damage or loss is the responsibility of the renter, excluding mechanical failure from normal wear and tear. SUP Rental Windsor is not responsible for any damage or loss resulting from equipment use, misuse or failure. The renter is responsible to obtain their own insurance, proof of which may be required at time of pick-up.

PICKUP

Each SUP rental starting at 8 a.m. everyday. A piece of photo ID will be required upon pickup. Cash deposits and all rental fees must be paid for in full at the time of pick-up. A waiver must be signed by the renter or their parents/guardians if the renter is under 18. We encourage everyone to sign the waiver online.

Return

All boards must be returned before 8 p.m. on the returning date. Late returns will be charged late fees according to regular rental rates. 

DELIVERY

Local delivery of equipment may be available at an additional cost depending on distance.

RENTAL ASSISTANCE INFORMATION

If any piece of rental equipment is malfunctioning, please inform SUP Rental Windsor as soon as possible. Any equipment failure, problem, damage or shortage which is not reported before the rented equipment is returned may be billed at the normal rate plus any damage or replacement charges, when and if applicable. It is our responsibility to ensure the equipment you rent is complete and in good working order when it leaves our premises. It is your responsibility to ensure it is used and handled correctly. SUP Rental Windsor is not responsible for improper use, or insufficient knowledge, of its rental equipment.

PRIVACY STATEMENT & USE OF INFORMATION

Renting customers will be asked to provide photo identification upon pickup. We will scan or take a photo of the documents you provide to us and may take a current photo of you. We assure you that all of the information that we capture is protected and not released to the public. All copies of this documentation are destroyed after two months of returning the equipment.

DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED

For identity verification purposes, we require valid government-issued identification and may capture an image of the original document, as well as a current photo of how you appear today.

If for any reason we are not comfortable with the documentation you provide, your rental may be declined.
